Karina Jett: Not Just the Better Half

Karina Jett is one of the many women poker players that excelled in the pro poker circuit today. Skilled, competitive and never intimidated, women pros have made their own league in the pro poker scene that normally, only men would dominate.

Karina was only two years old when she and her parents migrated to the United States. Originally from Saigon, Vietnam, her family settled in Las Vegas, Nevada. Having parents who are both card players, Karina's interest in the game was developed through watching her folks play.

Having access to many casinos while growing up in Las Vegas, gave Karina the chance to develop and polish her skills to tournament-perfection.

Karina Jett's participation in many poker tourneys includes her numerous appearances at the final tables of: the World Poker Finals in Ledyard, Connecticut; the world series Of Poker Ladies Event which was held in L.A.; Late Ultimate Poker Challenge and Four Queens Classic which where both held in Las Vegas; Night Poker in UK.

Karina met another pro poker player, Chip Jett in one of the tourneys she participated in and in 2001, they got married.
